THE VENUE

YOGA SHALA & ROOMS

Set in in Auroville, an experimental township in South India, Kavas is a luxury retreat centre

We’ll be staying on the property, that offers beautiful minimalist rooms with AC, free private parking, a pool and food from the conscious cafe. Our practice will be in a rooftop shala, surrounded by trees. Our meals will be curated by expert chef, Kirtana Vurgese, whose goal is to cultivate mindful dining

 

TRANSFERS

The nearest international airport is the Chennai Airport, which is 2.5 hours from Pondicherry by car. 

The nearest domestic airport is Puducherry Airport, 7 km from Kavas Yoga Retreat.

Private airport transfers are available on request.

Sushmitha is a yoga coach and wellness mentor with over a decade of study and 700-hours of training. Travelling across the globe, Sushmitha has worked with athletes, senior executives, young professionals and underprivileged children alike. She currently runs an online course that helps create personalised wellness journeys and integrates Ashtanga yoga into a balanced lifestyle of reflection and practice.
